About We Rock the Spectrum Novi
My name is Yushu Zhou, and I am honored to be the owner for We Rock the Spectrum Kids Gym Novi, catering to kids 0-12Y of ALL abilities, and represents the core values of diversity, inclusion, and compassion.
For the past decade, I was blessed with the opportunity to study at Cornell and Harvard, and dedicated myself to the senior living and healthcare industry. However, when I had my son, Oliver, in early 2020, my eyes were opened to COVID’s impacts on children’s physical and mental development, particularly among neurodivergent families.
As a foreign minority woman who came to the U.S. alone, I faced and overcame countless challenges in life. Each milestone reached is a testament to perseverance and the belief in creating opportunities for others. I want to empower more kids and families in reaching their new heights and making brighter futures.
As we begin this important work, I’ll share a bit of wisdom from one of my greatest inspirational figures:
